The Sega Saturn should have done much better. It was amazing and it's still my favorite gaming system till this day. I play it all the time and love it more than any other system I have ever owned.
Coleco Vision was the first system to have an Arcade port that was pretty darn close to the Arcade at the time. It's not a big thing today, but back then no home games ever came close to the Arcade version. It's just the way it was, so when my friends and I saw the TV ad for the CV showing Donkey Kong. It blew our minds!
I don't think Punch Out has a free play option? I could be wrong but last time I was at a place with Free Play it was one of the only ones that wasn't on free play.
I remember hearing about those Sega PDAs... Kids would save all the answers from like a math test (or multiple choice test) on it, past it off to a friend who claim it was simply a calculator and then use it to cheat on the test... I also heard you could send messages from one to another... (or the answers to a test) I guess teachers hated them...
I had that come and visit my city a few years ago or a baby version of it took up several floors of a building. So were the arcade games free play? Ours mostly where free one or 2 you had to pay 1$ but got a hour of play time. So it was free if you waited till someone got bored. :)
I remember my next door neighbor buying a Sega CD, and I do remember Sewer Shark, but wasn't there some other Sherlock Holmes type game? I could've swore that came with it as well.
nah, i specifically remember my dad calling me when he bought my n64 when i was 8, asking which game i wanted with it because it didn't come with one.
you sure? I mean, I know pretty much everyone who GOT an N64 ended up getting super mario 64 as their first game, just because it was super mario, but i don't recall it being sold in the box, with the system... however, i could be wrong, or hell, maybe there were just different versions for sale, and one came with it? whatever... i love my 64 regardless
I thought the n64 came with goldeneye or maybe that was just in england
