  • Kamchatka seems very simiar to Alaska, except its sightly cooler, less forested, wetter, and it has volcanoes instead of mountains.

  • Reminds me of Northern Canada; Russia and Canada seem very alike geographically. They have the steppes and we have the prairie, they have the Urals and we have the Rockies, we have massive forests and they have massive forests, and we both border the pacific ocean.

  • Really weird i think white people are like albino natives or something know.

  • very beautiful place, our earth is very beautiful but now it is becoming dirty because of global warming and we need to keep our common earth clean. I would like to live in place like kamchatka.

  • Come to Kamchatkia the land of cold misery only the dark ages can contend with. Before you leave Kamchatkia the poetry of Edgar Allan Poe will sound like a warm summer breeze and heat your sole. Come and relive a part of history you wish you could forget.

  • It should be Japanese. I'm just saying. GO DEMBEI! (And I would've used an Escalade or Range Rover Autobiography)

  • Isn't Iceland the land of fire and ice?

  • Russia-country of slums

  • I like this area. So cold and isolated. So opposite from those popular destinations.

  • Chineses/russians live like rats and pigs..lack of knowleges/poor/dirty SHITFACES

  • @SuperYamato2010 - you know- you're right. Especially the chinese. kool channel dude. I will never forget Japan. Our real only ALLY...

  • @SuperYamato2010 Hello Mr.Fecalbrains, you stole my heart...

    *kiss*

    XD

  • Alaska its too Russian Land

  • @BaranovV Indeed. It's actually even more remote than Kamchatka. And it's real close to home :) (if you live in the main landmass of America)

  • @esca8652 By the way, you know that between Russia and America there is " an overland border "? Certainly she(it) conditional. And so, when in the winter water freezes, from America to Russia it is possible to pass on ice :)

  • @BaranovV Passing on Ice...it would have to be no more than about 50 miles because a person can't walk on ice (where there is no food) for very long.

  • @esca8652 Russia and Alaska are barely 5 miles apart.

  • @eggsaladinthetub You must be referring to a distant island from Alaska's mainland, because I know the Bering strait is roughly 50 miles from Russia.

  • @BaranovV да, только на Аляске люди живут достойнее.

  • Камчатку хоть америкосам не проебали

  • As a little kid, in the 70s, before the internet and during the Cold War, this utterly remote and completely mysterious peninseven write LOTR-style stories set there (sad I know...) - but the only info around was a paragraph in Encyclopaedia Brittanica and the school atlas. The internet - and the end of the Cold War - has opened these places up in a way I would never have dreamed possible.

  • It's too bad the Russians sold Alaska to the US, but Kamchatka is very similar to Alaska.

  • @bombarderoazul

Not really...Alaska is pretty different...since the cold sea of okhotsk moderates the temperatures, the winters are milder than the rest of siberia, but the summer temperatures are too cool, so forests cant grow as they do in alaska. plus alaska is much more biodiverse...but kamchatka is really great, I just wish it was warmer...

  • Id love to go here!

  • I'm an American and I would love to travel to Kamchatka. It's so beautiful and remote looking.

  • beautiful pristine wilderness

  • 25 min video WTF???

  • Really cool video! Bravo James

  • ah Kamchatka i s the prettiest part of russia, but much too cold

  • if it is too cold, take a did in the hot springs

  • Very interesting video by RTV. This network is very quickly becoming my favoritem and I'm an American!! There's a lot of useful info that RTV presents that American news networks rarely seem to do.

Kamchatkla sounds like an interesting place and I'd love to visit one day.

  • that is geysers. he said geezers. haahahha

  • kolyma is near as well. on the western area of this part.

  • america is closer than moscow

  • oil

  • Wildest place in Russia says a lot.

  • I Love Kamchatka, it is one of the gratest places of Russia. Amazing nature, lots of fish and Russian red caviar which is much better then black one(IMHO).

Haven`t been there for 8 years, but i am still dreaming of Камчатка.

Thanks to RussiaToday for this great video!

  • Eight days in fishing paradise and not once did he pull out a fly rod for those beautiful salmon and trout!
