Instead of rebuilding that one and making it better than new, he goes and installs a second, even more worn out old engine just to be different from the rest of the crowd. Not really the best idea for turning 50+ inch tractor tires. Most monster trucks run bigger tires with a single 460 engine.

Should have or atleast could have used Two Olds Toronado cars, Could have had two front wheel drive fronts where the drive lines don't bypass each other, about the same power, LOTS less fuel required. 455's use about 30% less gas than 460 fords.

Each engine has it's own transmission, drive shaft and differential. The front engine powers the back, the rear engine powers the front.

There is also two gas pedals, one on the right foot and one on the left foot. When you hit the gas on this machine each engine is putting out all it can and doesn't care what the other engine is doing since there is no connection between the two. But it really is a hand full under full power.
