She danced good, but not an over all entertainer. I did not like to see her dance. It looked like any minute she and her partner were going to make out on the floor and to me that is not dancing. Unless she was shaking her behind or moving up against her partner there was much else to see. When it came to really dancing it was pretty dual. Sorry but the best entertainer over all won.

this is not called entertaining with the stars its called dancing with the stars yes you should entertain the crowd as well but your suppose to dance which Donny was not good at all. He made many mistakes,fell, had bad posture and was no where near as good as mya. This is the kind of dance where its supposed to look like your going to make out with your partner its a latin dance. stop making bad excuses when you know mya was the best dancer.

My daughter and I voted like crazy for Mya. She was hands down the best. Even Derek Hough, used her videos to coach Joanna, acknowledging that she was indeed the best dancer of the group. But in retrospect I am glad she didn't win. Had she won there would be a hue and cry over that because those who thought she had an unfair advantage would be livid. It is much better to be the one that everyone thinks was robbed, rather than the one who won because she had an unfair advantage. More sympathetic

Your just upset that she is actually doing a great job on the show but her background is not in Ballroom so converting from a hip-hop or jazz style is hard to do because movements and etiquette are totally different.

I totally agree. Yes, she has danced for a long time. But technique in ballroom is very different than technique in other areas of dance. Yes, she does have some sort of an advance being a dancer, but actors have an advantage in that they can get into the character of the dance more easily and athletes have an advantage in that they are more prepared for the physical aspects of dancing. Everyone has their own advantage in their own way. So stop your whining!!! lol.

I been dancing for 40 years but I couldn't go on DWTS and beat out any of them. Everybody dances. I understand she only had some classes when she was a kid. What little girl didn't have a class when she was a kid? I got friends who were fat azzes and their parents put them in ballet, but they couldn't stomp a roach if they had to today. The girl is good, get over it already. There are lots of singers who dance with their performance and they can't hang. Mya is just good!

A dance should illicit passion and romance not simply look like gratuitous raunch. Raunch is not always sexy. If you throw it in sparingly into something beautiful then yes. but this does not make me want to take my wife to the bedroom. Those other dances when done right can have that effect on you.
