  • thats alot of sashimi for 12£ where i live (DK) i pay 12£ /100DKK for that piece of salmon.

  • the music is a little dramatic no?

  • beautifully done, my only issue with traditional sahimi is the use of the same cloth for everything, it cross contaminates.

I use paper towels, which doesnt look as slick but does the job

  • @valerin0 cross contamination usually occurs between cooked and raw meats or bacterially susceptible proteins. fish that you are going to eat raw anyway shouldn't really have any danger of cross contamination

  • sashimi has to be thinner.

you're not supposed to use a sawing action to slice sashimi, it damages the cells.

  • what knife is that? does anyone know?

  • @sunnydzt it is a well worn Yanagiba :)

  • sashimi grade means a large efficient reliable network of traders and fishermen and experienced market buyers who buy the freshest and best fish consistently.

  • how do they get sashimi grade sushi...

  • sashimi has to be thinner....
