do you know that you got artifacts?...i got the same too on my 6970 factory oced[gigabyte 900/1375] i rma the 1st one and now i got a 2nd one and i got the same artifacts :@
@diieKatzenprinzessin 6970 all the way.... you wont regret it. Its one epic piece of hardware. or wait till the next series of cards come out on amd. :P
@diieKatzenprinzessin GTX 580 is the best Single-GPU out there atm, so you should get that if some. the 6970 all the way is just a fanboy speaking when GTX 570 = 6970 nowadays. From a nonfanboy of either: get GTX 580
@JkNone The GTX 580 is like £50 to £100 more, bang for buck the 6970 is better. And im no fanboy, ive had nvidia before. 6970 was a better price for what your getting compaired to the GTX 580. Its not all about power, its about cost too.
@JkNone haha the 6990 is so much better....It may be more expensive however the 6990 is way more powerful...the only better part about the 580 is the shader frequency ...nothing else
@lask7117 6990? We were talking about 6970, which is comparable with GTX 570 instead of GTX 580. If something is powerful now its the HD 7970 which will come to markets soon. 6990 aswell as most Dual-GPUs arent that good and the 580 got a better fps in a game or two than the 590 and 6990.
@12dart12 No it was just optimized for PCs not consoles like pretty much every game. The only game series that I can think of right now that isn't console ports is the Crysis series and Minecraft
@waddlerobloxxxx Crysis is still a very demanding game in terms of graphics. Once you start turning things up on high, and couple that with high levels of AA & AF, you will start to see your frame rates drop pretty quickly...
@ElectroHouseTunez lmfao, very true :P Don't get me wrong but i like to hear what other peoples gaming rigs are. But comments like his are just wanting a dick waving contest :P
@danielmadeirab In my opinion 6970 because its AMD/ATI. I don't like Nvidia. Had 2 of there cards previously both run really hot and loud and had alot of issues with one of them. Since i have been with AMD/ATI ive had no problem what so ever. Card runs pretty cool and not loud at all untill i crank up the speed using MSI Afterburner. Then the temps are very low but it sounds like a hair drier :P But it doesn't need to be spinning that fast. Default fan speeds are fine. And the 6970 is WICKED!!!!
@misterhoobomaster Well the 6970 is made to run hot. Dont worry i think it can handle up to like 120 degrees. But i do have custom fan settings. I use MSI Afterburner and i have set a custom fan profile. So the fan runs faster at lower temps. My lowest fan speed is 50% and thats at 30 degrees C. That helps keep it cool. Also i have a Coolermaster HAF 922 case which has plenty of fans. I also have a AC unit in my room so my room temp doesn't go over 25 degrees and is usually at 16-20 degrees :P
why upload the video in 720?
