I don't really have an opinion about either side (I'm sure the police were just doing their jobs) .... but I'm curious about what exactly can they charge those kids with? Wakeboarding on an empty flooded parking lot doesn't seem like it would be illegal. It's basically the equivalent to riding a sled down an empty street after a deep snow.....in fact, it's pretty much the EXACT same thing (and people do it all the time).

As it happens, both them and myself have been doing quite a bit to help our respective communities. I've been repairing flood damaged vehicles for people at deeply discounted rates and they have been helping their parents and neighbors clean up their neghborhood and school.
I can't speak too much for those kids cuz I don't know them that well, but as for myself, I'm a 31 year old man, I have been with my wife for over 10 years, with a 7 year old autistic son and taking care of a wife who has been fighting cancer for over a year and a half, never enough money to pay the bills, and stuck in a tiny apartment thats too small for my family...

However, I will point out that the language and utter contempt that you used to express your feelings was completely inappropriate and uncalled for, not to mention unjustified and cruel.
