if youre in no hurry then it wont hurt to wait and see how the US version of the iriver will be like but right now there is no official word on an american release.. but dont get me wrong, since the spinn has been cleared by the FCC then you can expect a US release

the 8gb iriver clix2 is also known as the iriver clix gen2(generation 2).. try googling that because those 8gb ones are available for $200.

and no i dont think the spinn is the replacement to the clix

I heard on Cnet it will come in a 4gb, 8gb, and 16gb with a micro SD slot for more space. If this is true I will be all over the 16gb. I'm looking to upgrade from my 8gb Iriver Clix which is an awesome player.

why spinn control with a touch screen ?

Because the touch screen requires more precision to be used than the analog wheel. You'll want the wheel when you're on a bike, running or even walking, and the screen when you're in a train.

I do agree the ui looks slow at times, but I highly doubt this is the final firmware it'll be shipping with.

It's a shame this video is shot in the dark the entire time, would have loved to see it's final appearance.

Overall a nice preview of its ui, very promising pmp player!
