  • Whats the faint Track ID in the beginning?

  • whats the difference between using the FX on Allen and Heath's DB4 vs. the iLive? Is there a quality / ease of use difference? seems like iLive is mainly for sound engineers/ fx partners and not solo DJs?

Also any thoughts on DB2 vs. DB4? What do you lose out on?

  • Got some question to the DB4 and DB2. Did they got the normal A&H Faderkurve which open the full Volume in the Quater in the Top of the Fader or did those Mixers got a normale Faderkurve which open the Channel Constant?

  • correction it have 5 effects (delays, reverbs, modulators, resonators and damage) and preset preload

  • i would feel this mixer would be better equipped for a live application through ableton. possibly an akai apc 40 to one side, turntables for back up. can this mixer skip the need for a higher dollar soundcard?

  • For that price, will it wash my underpants?

  • Hi. I was wondering if this mixer has both american and uk power. Would I need a transformer for specific countries?

  • @Punchymcgee780 Yes, it has a switchable power supply built in.

  • @Uniquesquared Another question for you.. If I set a 4- loop at, say 125 bpm, can I change it to 128bpm or 122bpm using the FX time knob?

  • oh my god i fucking wanna have that beast !!

  • Whats a DJ booth?

Is that the area around the DJ?

  • filters are digital ... its digital ,

so there no way it should be over 2,000 bucks ...

but its the 1st of its kind , and at the moment it is the best , but no way !

better ways to loop and filter and effect digitally ( FOR CHEAPER )

  • great mixer but the demo needs to be in 3-4 parts to really show how much this mixer does for you - and for all the dj hardware reviews... why demo only something with house music ? try another style of EDM for your reviews its a bit dry ...idk just my opinion :P

  • what does a booth output do

  • @TechFromTheTropics It is another master output that can be sent to monitors in your DJ booth.

  • djm-2000 or xone db4????? which is the best?

  • @TheUrkkisito xone by far

  • @TheUrkkisito The DJM2000 is very good and you have better eq for the effects and time can be change much quick, but the Xone have a lot of more effects, better materials/components also the filters are in another league is a better mixer, the screen in the 2000 is useless and the midi is the same

  • Nice watch! XD

  • TREMENDOOOOO ! xone DB4 <3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3

  • wow. I would loveeee to have this. Do I hear a "giveaway" coming up soon :) (thumbs up it you agree!!)

  • $3000!?!??!?!?!?!?!

  • I saw this mixer at NAMM 2011 and blew me away! A must for any DJ remixer/producer.

  • Amazing mixer, I've always liked Allen & Heath Mixers but I must say that I've grown to like the the Traktor effects much more for DJ'ing. I'd rather go with the Xone 4D + 2x 2D's on the side:)

I really like the colour indication on this mixer though, the digital loop section and not to forget the free MIDI switch capabilty on the knobs for use with Ableton.

  • only one improvement for some of these vids... make sure you talk about the price :D that would be super helpful and would make the vids that much more informative! great review though. i love this channel

  • damn its expensive!

  • u can hook up cdjs to this right?

  • @hthththt52 Yup, and controllers, turntables, and every other source of sound imaginable.

  • @hthththt52 u can hook up cdjs but only 2 cdjs .......unlike the djm u can hook up 4 cdjs

  • @hthththt52 You can hook up 4 CDJs to the DB4.

  • @Uniquesquared or turntables.
