Looks pretty good. I'm getting mine delivered tomorrow. Did you have it in Theater Mode when you turned the lights off? That's supposed to give it better colors and black levels.

yes i had it in theater mode. you will be happy with the quality when yours arrives. the best money i ever spent for a projector.

Thanks man, I can't wait. A few people were complaining about it over at avs forums but the contrast looks good in your clips and the reviews at projector central and Amazon are mostly great. Maybe the people at the avs forum were using bad settings, or got bad units.

i say that the contrast is kinda iffy if you are on the regular video component cable. but if you are using the HDMI port then the picture will look amazing. but other then that you cant really even tell. you get a HUGE ASS Screen for $750 bucks vs a 42' lcd for $750 (if your lucky). i love my epson 705hd and it is still running fine with no problems at all.
