U can burn games without the ihas burner u just need to modify the iso with the topolgy data there's a universal one and also game specific ones aswell I'll also need xbox back up creator to do the nessiciary changes but the ihas burner makes it safer

I did ur burning way and the disk come with no errors but when i put it in my xbox, it looks like is going to start the game but all of sadden a ad comes up saying that the disk isnt compatible.. once the ISO is mounted to the disk, thats all that has to be done without a IHAS burner?

if you would have the iXtreme Burner, there won't show up all these errors. In your case you are just burning the game without the copy protection from Microsoft.

In fact that means, that it is not hard for Microsoft to find you playing the game without copy protection and they will ban you after a certain time.

Hi all i have tried burning XGD3 (Batman AC) using this method. The burn was 100% Successful and the game also run in my Xbox but after playing for sometimes I was continuously being kicked out of the game (There was no internet connection to my Xbox.). Well i checked in a forum there they mentioned that the gamer will not be safe on Xlive and also will be kicked out of the game continuously (offline)..... Does anybody have similar situation?

the size of the whole game is bigger than what fits onto disk. the last 3% isn't burned onto the disk if you burn with this method. there is none of the game data in the last 3% so you can still play the whole game :)

Burn it using ImgBurn and the steps in the vid and so long as your console is flashed to LT + 2.0 it will usually play fine, if you read down the comments tho some people claim to follow the vid and still not work... It works for me

@MeMaProduction you need your console flashed to lt 2.0 before you play. You can only know what games have the new checks by playing or wait till some other people play and tell you. Only game so far with the check is Forza 4. Modern Warfare 3 hasn't shown any checks yet and i played through the entire campaign and even been in spec ops and matchmaking online and no problems errors or anything. I still recommend getting the iHAS burner for online games, especially MW3... but I didn't lol

@oshitt1foo games ripped using 0800v3 firmware and the latest XBC with the newest dae.bin are patched already. All big name uploaders are doing it right, in fact I haven't seen a non patched XGD3 rip yet... but they are out there somewhere so be careful. Make sure you download a good copy, one that has comments preferably... in general all XGD3 games are patched

@mandrakelinux07 no don't paste it into ImgBurn, sorry if that's how it looks in the video. just check that it's the same as the one I have in the video. all XGD3 games use this same layerbreak. Set the layerbreak to "calculate optimal" in imgBurn and burn using the dvd file :D

@wkdw1ll1ams this will not get you banned. games burned with this method pass ALL CURRENT CHECKS. That is confirmed by myself, and C4Eva. Somebody has told you this method is unsafe to make some money from your stupid ass. Do you research, ask the man who makes the firmware and don't try and tell someone who knows the exact workings of the internals of the 360 that they are wrong. You only need an IHAS burner for Forza 4, in the future it is expected you will need it for all games.

Because there currently is no other games that will flag you! an 0800 rip is not actually safe unless it's been ripped with the latest XBC using the latest dae.bin from xbins and you are using the new 0800v3, no other 0800 will rip the AP2.5 and all XGD3 games are AP2.5 enabled. Read the logs on c4evaspeaks and then come back and tell me I'm wrong.

@TheRoflmaionaise I don't actually know, never used a RW DL for anything. It's rewritable so it's worth giving it a shot, if it fails then you can just wipe it. I *think* it doesn't work but no harm in trying. If it does work come back and let me know because I always buy retail copies of the games I burn and like. it'd be good to be able to reuse the disk after I buy a retail copy :)

@varial36 yeah you can do that but there is an issue with changing disks or something I have read... I not lucky enough to have a JTAG so I don't know for sure. What I do know for sure is that you can play it on a JTAG but it has a forced update included on the disk that may be problematic for JTAG owners.

@dvlooka3 microsoft have capped the amount of space you can use on an exteral HDD to 16GB to force people to buy official xbox HDDs and not just use much, much cheaper externals. There is a trick you can use to get more space but it's only 16GB at a time still. Plug HDD into PC >> Rename Xbox360 folder to something different >> plug into Xbox >> format again >> do over if needed. You then have 2 or more 16GB sections to use. Means you need to plug into PC and rename folders every time tho.

@dvlooka3 don't NEED to install it but I think it's best. back-ups are intensive on your laser and can wear it out faster than retail disks. XGD3 retail disks are intensive on the laser so an XGD3 backup would make a weak laser fail really quick. That being said I don't install all of my games to HDD but I install most. I install them for 2 reasons. 1) it makes the console cooler and quieter and 2) it makes the laser in your disk drive last longer. Install if you can :D

@dvlooka3 i wouldn't recommend it, this is the method that people burned with and got bans. Forza 4 is an exception, as you probably know, but it's not safe with this method... all other games so far are safe... Maybe I should add that to the description about Forza 4.
