It's not about being lucky or unlucky, it's about being accountable. The deficit has gone from $1 trillion to $1.5 trillion. The national debt has gone from $10 to $15 trillion. If I became CEO of a company three years ago whose losses equated 30% of revenue (assuming $3.3 trillion in revenues) and three years later those losses were nearly 40% of revenue, I'd be sent packing.
