no emotion means he's just playing it without putting feeling into it. just playing it flatly with no movement. you can feel it if a song is played with emotion. crescendos and decrescendos are examples.
better emotion... I think thats the comment people give whenever someone plays something really well, but they just have to find something to critique them on. Why don't you explain what exactly it is to have "better emotion" - if such a thing can be measured by another person at all - or better yet- post your own and demonstrate.
