I find War a good game but the interface looks alot like WoW and so does the game play I might play War but then agin I might play AoC or darkfall. I think ill try them all out but my money's on Darkfall.And no War's not really a copy of WoW its just similar to WoW, I think that what turns me off the same game qualities.
WAR is not like WoW. They may have a similair UI (have you considered that this is because they both use the best UI?) but their game play is very different. WoW is mainly PvE with some unbalanced PvP on the side whereas WAR is RvR based (RvR has both PvE and PvP with PvP taking a much more vital role).

no it doesn't. Warhammer had all the beasties figured out long before WoW came along. WoW took all the ideas of orcs, goblins, dwarves, trolls, beastmen, minotaurs and elves from the tabletop games. The only thing original in WoW is the midgets (gnomes?).
About Warhammer Online, I'm not gonna speculate either way about whether it's going to be better than WoW or not. Honestly I think it's going to be more personal perference than anything. Everyone is different, and WoW vs. WhO is merely opinions.
At long last an MMO based on Warhammer actually will spring to life, I guess most of us WAR-fans where very dissapointed at CLIMAX who first tryed to make the first Warhammer MMO (it was even before WoW) but later dropped the whole project, but as you all know MYTHIC has now taken the reins and will make it PERFECT and true to WAR-lore.

I'ts a copy of WoW... If you want to play a real life game then play Darkfall, in this game there are no safe zones you can make your own cities your own army... where there are no lvl advantge. Clan's will wage war the land are possbilly the larget of any MMO. you costimze your own char you get to make your own aromor and name it and design it and alot more!... type in Darkfall in the search bar and look at a vid or two.

That shit is a lot easier said than done. And I don't give a flying fuck what you or anyone else says, there's no fucking way an arcane/fire mage is gone crit anywhere near 4k with an ice lance. A full frost mage or arcane/frost with with descent gear might, just might, crit for 3k with an ice lance. But I'd still have to see it to believe it.
@genoXV:stun lock is reffered at the rogue's combos(cheap shot,kidney shot,vanish,etc) you can't count impact as stun lock.just a lucky proc.the phrase "w0w everyone has stunlock" is not true at all.shamans are known for their lack of any crowd control or anti cc.i agree that wow has its flaws though.i don't know much about wh yet,but the graphics are kinda bad(dunno where the "realism" bit came from) and sounds like it's gonna be all about pvp.not sure how keen i am to gank and be ganked.

You have a 70 mage on WoW and u just said , "every class has a stun-lock" how did you get to 70 without learning that your class doesn't have a stun-lock? your an idiot

the rezzing system in this game makes me cry. in wow it takes sometimes an hour to find your body to rez. why spend that much time when you can spend 3 secs in warhammer online dead and brought back into battle all in 3 secs. 3 sec and constant pvp vs wow's 30 min to an hour dead form body hunts and 10 min pvp Q times.
Mythic owns pvp and is unmatched. in warhammer online you can do nothing but pvp or pve in the game and play the whole game to the highest lvl. not like wow, in wow you cant even get experience pvping. all the hardcore gamers will come to warhammer online. Tons of players are already starting guilds for the game already and its not even out yet. well I cant wait. got mine already pre-ordered. what about you all?

I'm currently in a guild atm thats trying to decide either order or destruction. Id like to try order due to a few reasons but then again most of my guild like chaos. But I really don't know yet what we gonna try. Both sides have some nice stuff.
It offers way nicer PvP than WoW did... The PvP of WoW is every day the same, while u can attack the enemy capital for instance. If you do that in WoW u can't even attack most of the people in the capital, and it only costs money for durability, you wont get nice items of much honor from it.
@fram, so its marginally better but its still the same gameplay. grind out a character for hours, enjoy 2mo of immersing Warhammer goodness (awesome) till the powergamers figure out the best character templates and the game becomes team deathmatch, only instead of skill mattering, it only matters how many level 70s you have on your team.

We've been through this before a lot. This game is designed to be a recreation of the Warhammer universe, with special attention to the table-top game. Though it may look babyish, it is some of the best IP that you can ever find for not only MMO's, but serious literature itself. This game is not made to appease the masses, but to create the most fun experience EVER
There are many new features in this game that is not in other MMO's like WoW or EQ. I can't possibly tell them all, but the game will include Public Quests, "Easter Egg"-encounters for those that like to explore, sieges of capital cities and more.
These are only some of the new things, there are many old features that is common in MMO's that have been improved.
I recommend checking it out. Release quarter 1 in 2008.

This is not a WoW clone retards! WAR is an RVR game with very little to do with WoW, other than being an MMORPG. last:wow has many flaws,true(i got 3 70's involved in all aspects of the game,healing-shaman,tanking-druid and dps-hunter,the hunter was r14 before the patch,etc.i believe i got a clue)but none of the points you've made here(ignoring the cursing,that's just mature behaviour, i guess)aren't going to be better in wh.there are other things worth mentioning and yet you've pointed out just crap.makes me believe that instead of wow's 12 yr olds,we'll have bunch of 20-25's with 12 yrs' old brains.

lets see sheep, arcane power, (15 secs till sheep pop) pyro... (5-6k crit) pom, instant pyro (5-6k crit), run up blastwave(1-2k crit), fire blast (1k-3k crit), frost nova then ice lance (another 2-4k crit), well that about sums up about 17-20k dmg in 10 secs. thats alotta dmg don't you think? instant casts ftw

That shit is a lot easier said than done. And I don't give a flying fuck what you or anyone else says, there's no fucking way an arcane/fire mage is gone crit anywhere near 4k with an ice lance. A full frost mage or arcane/frost with with descent gear might, just might, crit for 3k with an ice lance. But I'd still have to see it to believe it.

@genoXV:stun lock is reffered at the rogue's combos(cheap shot,kidney shot,vanish,etc) you can't count impact as stun lock.just a lucky proc.the phrase "w0w everyone has stunlock" is not true at all.shamans are known for their lack of any crowd control or anti cc.i agree that wow has its flaws though.i don't know much about wh yet,but the graphics are kinda bad(dunno where the "realism" bit came from) and sounds like it's gonna be all about pvp.not sure how keen i am to gank and be ganked.

If every class has a "stun-lock" then the PVP would be more fair, due to parity. Hey, I'll be the first to admit WoW PvP is unbalanced, but no not for the reasons you listed... the rezzing system in this game makes me cry. in wow it takes sometimes an hour to find your body to rez. why spend that much time when you can spend 3 secs in warhammer online dead and brought back into battle all in 3 secs. 3 sec and constant pvp vs wow's 30 min to an hour dead form body hunts and 10 min pvp Q times.

Mythic owns pvp and is unmatched. in warhammer online you can do nothing but pvp or pve in the game and play the whole game to the highest lvl. not like wow, in wow you cant even get experience pvping. all the hardcore gamers will come to warhammer online. Tons of players are already starting guilds for the game already and its not even out yet. well I cant wait. got mine already pre-ordered. what about you all?

It offers way nicer PvP than WoW did... The PvP of WoW is every day the same, while u can attack the enemy capital for instance. If you do that in WoW u can't even attack most of the people in the capital, and it only costs money for durability, you wont get nice items of much honor from it.

@fram, so its marginally better but its still the same gameplay. grind out a character for hours, enjoy 2mo of immersing Warhammer goodness (awesome) till the powergamers figure out the best character templates and the game becomes team deathmatch, only instead of skill mattering, it only matters how many level 70s you have on your team.
i like warhammer.
i don't like mmos, as consumers you guys fail hard for buying this trash again and again.

We've been through this before a lot. This game is designed to be a recreation of the Warhammer universe, with special attention to the table-top game. Though it may look babyish, it is some of the best IP that you can ever find for not only MMO's, but serious literature itself. This game is not made to appease the masses, but to create the most fun experience EVER

There are many new features in this game that is not in other MMO's like WoW or EQ. I can't possibly tell them all, but the game will include Public Quests, "Easter Egg"-encounters for those that like to explore, sieges of capital cities and more.
These are only some of the new things, there are many old features that is common in MMO's that have been improved.
I recommend checking it out. Release quarter 1 in 2008.

This is not a WoW clone retards! WAR is an RVR game with very little to do with WoW, other than being an MMORPG. Also, to set it strait, WoW is a well polished EQ clone that appealed to the masses, but has jumped the shark. WAR is coming, and it will simply speed up WoWs decline into oblivion.
