She's not better. She's different. The band has a different feel with her as the vocals, and there is nothing wrong with that. Different people have different tastes. Personally I like the feeling of the band with Tarja better, as I think it's a more elegent, honest sound that elicits a more true emotion from the listener. But that isn't to say that you have to agree. I like a lot of the newer stuff with Anette as well. It's just different.

Saying one is definitively better is silly.
