A friend and I was driving by the airport two weeks ago and spotted something orb shaped trailing a airplane at takeoff only to disappear after my friend assured me that I wasn't seeing things. It was either shiny from the sun or it was emitting light. Nonetheless it vanished in thin air shortly after I pointed it out to him.
