  • OMGGG yur GORGEOUSS...love ur hairr

  • can you please do a tutorial on how u get the bun you wear in every video?!?!?

  • @twinkletoes627 ive worn it in like possibly 2 videos not in every video but possibly at some point

  • how do you keep your skin so nice? Do you have a specific skin regimen?

  • @JoeIIe08 i have a skincare routine video its pretty much the same as then. i dont do anything special

  • I agree about the loreal hairspray, its sucks.

  • Your hair and my hair have lots in common!!!!

  • i enjoy watching ur videos and i notice that you've never done an make routine video or maybe i just missed it but i always wanted to know what is your daily makeup routine cuz the way you had your makeup on is so flawless and i would like to know what you use and if you can make an tutorial.

  • @beautysoul91 because i dont have a routine. i dont wear makeup everyday but when i do i try and use different things all the time since i am always testing stuff. as for foundation i just apply with my fingers and rub it in like a moisturizer there really is no specific or special way and also the results will vary for everyone since everyone has different needs makeup wise

  • i agree with you the elnett had like a light ghastly smell but i like the hold hopefully u will find a good one;.

  • @itsamerella omg worst hairspray smell ever. *dies* lol.

  • When you talked about hating the L'Oreal Elnett hairspray, I squealed, because I hate it, too! And I haven't found anyone else who does, lol. I can't stand the smell, and I would get a headache every time I used the spray. I thought it was just me, but when I stopped using it, the headaches went away. So, yes. Just had to tell you that. Love your videos, by the way! :)

  • @amethystical1987 omg it smells so awful. and it lingers all feakin day. drives me nuts! hahah thank you for watching!

  • I don't understand why people dislike this video lol

  • @toughgirl238 lol i dont either. i think they get mad cause i dont have a miracle answer for them about my hair.

  • Hair Tutorial? If you have one can you link it to me? PLEASE!!

  • omg..when you pulled out those "scissors" i busted out laughing (:

    hahaha those look dangerouuuuus girl!

..yet you use it to cut your hair. hahaha

  • @starburstx03 lol hey they do the job!

  • I'm not a huge fan of hairspray, but I found one I'm in love with...its the Tresemme Tres 2 hairspray! Its amazing! It doesn't leave your hair crunchy or anything. It's very manageable. You should definitely try it out!

  • @christyliane3 ill have to try it out!

  • i flipping love you

  • @FlawlessBeauty97 thank you! haha

  • yay me too ! only shampoo & conditioner (: hmm i wonder how you highlight your hair using a mascara wand... :/

  • @deliaBEAUTY just apply the dye on and brush it into your hair. idk why so many ppl are asking me that i feel like its kind of obvious there are only so many possibilities. *shrugs* i only do that for the roots the rest i just apply with my hands. thanks for watching!

  • Why don't you try Big sexy hair spray and play

  • try the bumble & bumble

  • I love your hair!! The waves look very similar to my natural hair. I love the highlights, I might just do it! Don't worry I won't blame you if it doesn't come out as pretty :P

  • how did you curl your hair in this vid

    its sooooo prettyy

  • your hair looks great!

  • @Sn0wflakesXx thank you!

  • You should try the bedhead hardhead hair spray, it's really good, you really dont need alot of it

  • @sammysand2baremakeup steve has that one and its too hard of a hold, its stronger than the one i showed which i am not looking for.

  • hahahha you're actually sooo lazy with your hair!! i'm like that too, but mine, unfortunately, doesn't look like urs xP

  • ...well, just hairspray LOL

  • that's really interesting. I think i still see that hair dye at rite aid. Thanks

  • lol ur scissors crack me up.

  • Do you split your hair when you let it dry?

  • @superbbyca nope i just brush it back and let the part falls where it happens to fall

  • Your highlights look so good! I wish I could do that to myself, I just have the worst luck with getting the color I want. Love love love your eye make up in this vid! Looks like fall, if that makes sense haha :) Tutorial maybe?

  • @nmaramba thank you : )

  • I love your videos, its super easy to relate to you :)

  • @nessaescorpion aww thank you!

  • This isn't about hair, but what would you say is your favorite liquid eyeliner?

  • @ayeeqtayyy either lancome artliner or dolly wink

  • Love your videos!

  • I wish I naturally had straight hair. I don't have your "typical asian hair" even though I'm asian. It's so wavy and frizzy I always have to straighten it :( .

  • hahaha the heat protectant part made me laugh!! i love how blunt you are btw, you have to be with so many people watching and judging everything you do. stay beautiful!!

  • I appreciated your comments about cutting hair and why you will not do a hair-cutting video. Very well-spoken.

  • You should try the Avenoo Nourish and Style hairspray. It's amazing! I don't like the feel of hairspray either. But, this makes your hair feel like it has absolutley no products in it and actually protects your hair and makes it feel super healthy. Oh, and the best part, it's all natural. :)

  • How many strands of hair do you estimate you use a day? I feel like I lose so much, I wonder how much is the "normal" range since I know humans do have to shed hair and that's part of the process of growing hair

  • what camera are you using?

  • Hey I used the Garnier one too, but now I use Loreal Excellence HiColor for Dark Hair Only, you should try it, its the same thing. They have like 6 shades and doesnt smell horrible! Good luck!

  • hahah i love how low maintenance you are about your hair, but it always ends up looking so gorgeous! jealous :(

  • hey holly! do you plan your outfits according to your make-up? you always have such great eye looks!

  • try the paul michaels super clean extra hair spray it has really great hold and feels natural

  • holly, would you ever consider dying your hair black?

  • @lcelinerd no because my hair was never black and i think it would make my skintone look weird. i have reddish brown highlights because my natural highlights have a reddish hue so the color i chose compliments my natural hair

  • I love your eye make up in this video! TUTORIAL!

  • You should try the chi hairspray!! Its smells kinda like a soft mens cologne but in a good way, sort of how abercrombie smells but with also the smell of hairspray...it hold you hair gently and it doesnt make it cruncy but it still holds all day!

  • The garnier bamboo hairspray works wonders! Its holds all day, but no matter how much u put in, it doesn't get hard.

  • Comment removed

  • @rockon4life99 i already have one as ive mentioned

  • YOU HAVE BEAUTIFUL HAIR OMG!

  • omg just watched the rest of the video. nvmmm hahaha

  • i hated the feel/smell of hairspray until a friend of mine recommended loreal elnett. i still don't use it often, but when i feel i need it, it's amazing. just thought i'd throw that out there. :)

  • hmm maybe ill go pick up those pantene shampoo and conditioner!

  • Big sexy spray and play hairspray. And conair infinity clipless curling iron (:

  • sallys has the loreal brand thats for dark hair :) ive used it and it works just fine :)

  • i thought you were kidding when you showed the scissors you use

  • When I saw you whip out your scissors, my jaw dropped! They're so huge. They're bigger than your hand! By the way, maybe you can try using Asian hair color dye? Palty is one brand that's sold in Japanese specialty stores. My friend uses them and she likes them. I use Clairol's Perfect 10.

  • @asianchic05 palty and dyes like that are only good for dying all your hair which i do not do and LOL about the scissors

  • Good video

  • the s -factor line smells beyond amazing!! and their hairspray is pretty good too.

  • hey holly =D nice video, i was so shocked when u said you cut your own hair! it looks so professional! as far as trying to find new dye's for your hair, you could try using an asian brand because they are generally formulated to take on darker hair. i think you live in LA, so you could try going to one of the Japanese supermarkets ie: Mitsuwa/Marukai/Nijiya to find one. you've probably already heard of those stores, but just thought I'd give you a suggestion!

  • great, honest vid as usual, that's what I love about ur vids:) btw, i feel the same way toward hairspray and I really respect the fact that u start using it for the sake of youtube viewers!!

  • @sassyblueme : ) thank you!

  • if you won't do a hilighting video, could you just put in your description of how you hilight? i know you said you use a mascara wand but how exactly? :) thanks! loved this videoo

  • @cheetosaregood its just like it sounds i apply the dye to the mascara wand and brush it in theres really no other way that can be done with it. i use that for applying near the roots the rest i just apply with my hands,

  • Lol, thank you for being extremely honest in this video!

  • @funkadelikc *every video. thank you for watching

  • huummm you should try the got2b smooth operator for hair spray i think it

is what u might be looking for! it works great and smells great no like the lorel one it smells gross! but yeah you should try it! =)

  • Holly, if you'd like to try a new hairspray i do recommend Chi's Enviro Flex Spray. Its a light hold, smells great. No crunchiness :) If you do try it, let me know if you like it!

  • you should try out the got2b sexy voluptuous volume hair spray and tresemme tres two hair spray. i feel both of them do a really good job holding my curls throughout the day (i have stubbornly straight hair) and they don't make my hair feel crunchy either. i love all of your videos because they're so informative and fun to watch. keep them coming =)

  • best heat protectant ever: MELU shield by davines

  • I don't know why so many people are so obnoxious about how long your videos are...it says how long the video is BEFORE you click on it. Like seriously people, get a life and fix whatever issues you have with yourselves and leave her alone geez.

  • Haha wow! Never seen scissors like that for hair before. Looks like gardening scissors lol :P

  • haha you totally scared me when you popped your scissors out. Im in my 2nd year of college and I've been cutting my hair since high school. But my hair growth is rather slow. I dont think I'll ever come around to that size of a hair tool though! Lol

  • I used to use Pantene Pro-v through out of my high school years but I switched to Tresemme Sleek and Straight for almost 3 years. I did miss how Pantene Pro-v used to make my hair feels; manageable and straight but downside is my hair is fine and it could turnout very flat :( . I just LOVE your hair so much Holly :) Thanks for sharing your video!

  • I love your hair in this video!

  • i use GoldWell shampoo and conditioner. its pretty pricey but it works really good and smells soooooo good!

  • Where did you get your scissors from?

  • I'm glad I'm not the only one that doesn't brush my hair in the morning. Haha! Brushlabs makes the BEST round brushes! I got a free blowout at Ulta and the stylist used it. HAD to buy it! LOL guys should NOT use hairspray. That's so weird to me. Maybe they only do that in California.

  • Do you have a tutorial of your hairstyle in this video?!

  • @bitchjcoon yes i mentioned that in the video. just search in the search section on my page : )

  • wheres your shirt from?

  • I freak out when ever you have a new video! I really appreciate how "unrehearsed" your videos are, if you know what I mean? like so many gurus do voice overs or try to sounds super professional when they do videos. I love your vids because you have such a real and conversational feel. I think that's what keeps them so interesting and never boring! Love your videos and I'd kill for your hair, it's gorgeous!

  • @Denny3190 hahah thank you : )

  • That pearly-opaque vs. clear shampoo thingy- the manufacturers often alter the color&texture of the product to influence people`s perception of it. E.g. they make a moisturizing or repairing shampoo creamy and dense, or adding glittery/pearly particles into shine enchancing ones. Same goes for oily hair clear, fresh scented shampoos. I`m not saying it`s about all shampoos, but that`s definetely a trick to consider. Might turn out two different shampoos would look similar without the additives ;)

  • @MournfulAngie like i said it feels better. i speak from exp. i dont care what they do to the look to "try" and influence your buy. most of the time CLEAR shampoos are clarifying which strips residue from your hair hence the squeaky clean feel. its not all just looks.

  • I'm lazy with my hair too, lol, but your hair looks lovely

I was just wondering how often you need to reapply your lipstick/lipgloss?

some of my lipstick seems to just come off when I eat so is there something I can do to help that or does the lipstick just not have staying power?

  • Is the method of you curling your hair the same as the one in the old video?

  • @ihmlihml yep

  • @hollyannaeree L'oreal Feria is awesome hair color... I've got naturally dark brown hair and it's dyed blonde... L'oreal Feria is the ONLY hair color that's been able to get my hair blonde without making it look orangey, coppery, reddish weird like other hair colors do on unbleached dark hair. Like it looks like the blonde on the box. I would try that if I were you

  • wait where is the tutorial for curling ur hair"???

  • Holla...

    I know I sound bit....i dunno...FAKE :L..

but I absolutely love your videos :L..

i get annoyed when i see like 5:00 min vid fromother gurus but i jus watched 19 mins of yours n still m not bored :L..

so keep up the good work :L..

i dunno how but somehow you keep me interested >.<...

    <3 you haha XOXO

  • @frickinmusicloverXD hahha well thank you : ) it even surprises me how long my videos are LOL. i have a lot to say i guess haha. i try to put all the info i would possibly be asked about into it and i dont like to split the videos just in case someone only sees one part of it. its just easier i think to have it all in one. : )

  • I don't use masks either, they NEVER work.

  • I really want to die my hair again but it got so much split end and damage. Idk which brand of hair die to use that doesnt damage as much. What brand r u using?

  • @Selenaloveableshop i talk about it right in the video. the color i use for highlights are garnier (i dont dye all my hair) but my hair isnt damaged to being with so i cant really say if it would be damaging or not but it seems like its good to my hair. i dont do it overly often though every 3-4 months. sorry i couldnt be more helpful than that but if its not something that applies to me i really cant give advice on it. im sure you understand : \ good luck!

  • I started using Pantene products when I lived there and then when I got back to Brazil I found it in stores and loved it cause it was the same from the U.S. Now they have also changed the formula here, and it's not as good anymore, specially the scent.

  • @fabianayamada yeahh i miss the old scent. it was so undeniable not its a littler more generic : (

  • Great video :)

  • i noticed you're wearing the western dreams from jewelmint! are they heavy? i'm thinking about buying them but i'm unsure

  • @SimplyChicTV hahah yes they are heavy....i didnt think they were that heavy till i tried wearing them all day : \ theyre not unbearable but the backing is a little loose. next time im going to switch out the backs.

  • you might want to go professional next time for your dye. They could probably match it.

  • My favorite hairspray is the Tresemme 24 Hour Body Finishing Spray... it's a nice light hold, smells amazing, and is cheap :D

  • great video! do you ever use dry shampoo? if so, what brands do you recommend? thanks!

  • @rxabyee i have but i never really feel like they do anything for me : \

  • i am literally doing my hair as i watch this video. you should try the tresemme tres two spray! it is amazing!!!

  • ooh.Pantene does not like my hair, and my hair does not like Pantene...it does not wash my hair well enough and it caused a lot of build up and hair fall out....my husband and children didn't like it...i was in denial for a long time...but that relationship was just plain toxic...have not used any pantene products in over 2yrs...glad it works for someone..

  • Holly,

I love your hair color. Did u get highlights too?

  • @TrueGirlyGirl please watch the video. i dont dye all my hair i only do highlights. ive had my hair the same as long as ive been on youtube and i havent re-done my highlights in a few months.

  • Try Tresemme Tres Two hairspray :) It smells nice and it does not feel weird.

  • the sparkly brush IS SO COOL~!! i want one!

  • you should try the Pantene hairspray! It seems good, and it holds alot but it doesnt leave the hard crunchy finish.

  • you shuold use a ph balance shampoo, conditioner, cream

cause is better for the hair. i hear that a long time and i start to fiend a ph balance products and none of them said that then a week ago i finded and i can tell is really 96

good. it does not have too many chemicals.well im just sayin. you also should no brush your hair after shower cause your hair is not strong cause is wet you gotta let it dry but with normal air not blow dry.

  • @lovelylitzi yeah...i talked about all that right in the video. like i said this is not an advice video its what i do and what i have been doing for years. i have no complaints about my hair.

  • i'm wearing your shirt right now :P hahaa

  • try the garnier fructis bamboo anti humidity hairspray(: smells great. and perfect hold!

  • the satin hairspray smells awful! i hated it too haha

  • Thanks for the video! Ive been trying out new products and your inputs really help! And i'll def try the white sands hairspray for homecoming :)

  • i love your humour! <3

  • @kakkaishi LOL im glad someone gets it sometimes hahah

  • Your routine is so simple! I'm surprised that your hair looks so nice and healthy with that little work:)

  • I LOVE your eyes in this video!

  • try the generic products from sallys. the medium hold is strong enough to keep curls all day but light enough that it wont leave it crunchy! :) tell me if you end up liking it!

  • did you go to singapore for LMFAO concert at Avalon?

  • @kstelin no and neither did my bf. he didnt do the international leg of the tour.

  • any chance of you doing a video of how you highlight your hair?

  • @mzjoe11 nope. its messy enough on its own that i dont want to try and bring filming into it. its really simple i just apply with my hands and for the roots i use a clean mascara want to brush it in. thats it, so the video probably wouldnt be that helpful. i only highlight about 5-6 sections each time.

  • best conair curling wands/ irons ?

  • Yeah that Loreal Hairspray was horrible -.- I dislike it bad, the smell is not decent at all and the spray feels sticky and uncomfy

  • You should try the Fekkai hairspray, it is really really good...expensive though :/

  • my hair stopped growing fast after i had my baby :(

  • Try using L'oreal Preference UL61 or the other ones in that series for dark hair! I've got fine hair as well and it works great :)

  • I completely relate to you when you say that your hair "gets used" to a shampoo/conditioner. I feel the same way, my hair seems to style better if I switch them up. Also, I have used Pantene for years, and throughout that time I have tried more expensive brand's shampoos (Chi, Joico, etc) and Pantene works the best on my hair. Good choice!

  • Im so glad that you dont like the loreal hairspray, i was about to purchase it too!! thankyou so much for your input on the hairspray :)

  • @whadidusay no problem!

  • You're sooo gorgeous!!!

  • @cocopinkmakeup1927 ohh really?!?! ill have to check that out! it sounds cuteee : )

  • you look absolutely stunning in this video! (more so than usual!)

  • I know you did a video on this but I can't find it. Where did you get the comb from? Thanks!

  • @fuzziwig456 i dont think they sell it anymore it was part of a set from ikonika

  • wen you need to redo your highlights you should do a youtube video

  • @msrecendiz i dont want to. its messy enough for me to do period i dont want to be bothered filming it. they way i do it is a no brainer i feel like if ppl cant figure it out they shouldnt be doing it themselves lol. i apply with my hands, thats the easiest tool in the world! lol. i use the mascara wand to brush it in on the top (i also feel as thats a common sense thing as well) ppl doing their own hair really scares me i dont want to get the blame if they cant do it or mess up.

  • @msrecendiz people are already harassing me about the shampoo i use in this video and thats just shampoo. im not even telling anyone what to use just what i use and they are freaking out!

  • do u have any experience with using dry shampoo?

  • Yeah, I love my Asian hair. It's just so hassle free and has really good quality. The same thing always happens to me too: what products I use and whatnot.

Why haven't you tried short hair? You don't want to try a change or you think it wouldn't be very flattering for you.

  • @EripmavRaye i dont like short hair, long hair is so much more versatile

  • you're very picky...

  • @haayitsmeghaan if i wasnt i wouldnt be very objective with reviews.

  • i love your hair! its so gorgeous(:

  • You are so gorgeous, Holly! <3

  • I love watching your videos! You're so classy and lady-like! :) You have such a beautiful hair & style!

  • @Marciaa6 thank you ;)

  • i love how you're so honest with everything! great video :)

  • @iridescentx3 thank you! : )

  • hey guys idk if its doing this for you too but its giving an error report when i leave a comment then it goes through later so it looks like i post doubles, even triples. but if i delete it removes the whole thing. : \ so sorry if you get multiple replies!

  • how did u do ur hair u have todayyy~? it s so pretty~!!
