He wanted the movement to continue the researach and development of Physical Mediumship for materialisation, but I understand this is something the SNU will NOT uphold. Arthur has been through many sitters in Trance at different circles to air his disaoppointment at how his home is being used and as for the commercial aspect of it now he is disgusted.

@castramon2 I disagree.. he is correct.. When I was a child my parents had told me a story of when the night Nana died she had visited my father and uncle at their bedsides. It has been a long time since I had heard that story I should ask them again but that was the jist of it.. when I attuned myself to reiki I had become aware that in the past when I was in high school and listening to the school band I had felt and been consciously aware of the empathic vibrations shuddering in my body.
@castramon2 I would not have been able to become a medium, attuned, without first recognizing and being fully aware of my inherited innate ability to communicate with the spirits.
Spiritualism only interests most people to the extent that they want to communicate with somene who they ahve known who has died. I think that is a lot easier for most people because there is that motivation to communicate with them.
The faculty for Mediumship like many other talents can be passed on through blood lines. This does not mean to say that since my grandfather was a talented musician that I too will be. Yes it has to be practiced and is a lot of work. I have seen and known many talented mediums and they all have worked at their craft for many years. A talented surgeon does not start cutting without years of practice. Neither does a great medium.
No one has ever proved that it is possible to communicate with the dead. Anyone who claims they can should submit for proper testing . Extraordinary claims need extraordinary evidence
Correction, no one has proved to you that they can talk to the dead. If they did you may not be open to see or hear the truth at this time, and that is ok. For those of us who have had it proven time and time again there is nothing you or anyone else can say to change that. I respect your opinion but whenever I ask a psychic to name my mothers maiden name or a whole host of other pertanent questions they have so far been unable to do so. There may be someone who is able to communicate but all I see is cold reading etc
@dylans8 the proof is in the evidence given by the medium. The evidence comes from the communicator(love on in spirit). It is up to the communicator what details are to be passed on to the recipient. The recipient can ask questions but ultimately the medium works to give voice to the loved one in spirit and if the specific questions being asked are not answered by the loved one then the medium does not have that information to pass on.

Mediums are easily able to supply lots of letters as in " I have a D name a Deb or a dan etc etc Some mediums claim they can see and hear and talk to spirits in exactly the same as I see and hear my friends. However they seem to be unable to provide a description unable to provide any evidence other than cold reading no surnames no dates of birth nothing other than guesses

I have seen many good mediums Paul is one of them, who give addresses, with street names and numbers, details of the communicators personality, shared experiences.... It seems you have not had that experience. Yes there are frauds or mediums who are not as developed. Some claim to be talking to spirit but are really only getting psychic information. my mediumship started with a bang 2 years and and even though guides speak to me everynight the mediumship side of it comes n goes with no control and its been frustrating cos i never feel right when i goto a church,just doesnt feel right, im reliant on guides to teach me,which is nice, but sometimes it takes ages to figure what they are saying, i nee dto relax more and 'let it come in its own time',cheers
