Wow she sang good too! Great arms! So amazing how all the girls in the runaways had the talent at their instrument plus at singing, well except for Cherie she didnt play an instrument she only sang, but all the others were multi-talented! So sad theirs no band like them anymore.

Im the only 13 year old at my school who knows who she is, which makes me think of how much better my life would be if I was born back when The Runaways were around. RIP Sandy, I love you.
@andrenalalle Sandy came to my studio to jam and we became life long friends untill she passed, we talked just before that happened(now my great friend is gone thank god i found some old videos we recorded)

and @ work today Michael Jackson died , we were waiting to rehearse @ STAPLES CENTER, and production called us all into the Arena to say he had Died, so we spent Most of the day breaking down all we had built over the last few days,
he looked frail last few days, but we never expected that, so now we are packing up what was to be an incredible show,
Made me think of SANDY and how much I wish she was still here, another sad day in Life.
She had phenomenal talent and should have gotten a lot more recognition and accolades than she did. Every time I listen to the Runaways I am blown away by her drumming. She was just the best.
Sandy and I put out a single in 1984 with a Different version of Wild thing more teckno, and a song called F13, all of these videos are from a showcase we did before toured around California.
Both Sandy and Greg(lead guitar)have passed away,
there are plans for a DVD and maybe a cd as soon as that is clear I will let you All know.

Then the next thing i knew...the Runaways came out with Cherry Bomb and she was a star!!. I could not believe it when I recently picked up a Rolling Stone mag and saw she had died...God Bless sandy. You were a childhood hero to me and I will always remember you as the girl down the street who played KICK-ASS drums in her garage! XO
