I always cry when I hear this song. Sandy is the most amazing girl ever. I cried my eyes out when she died, and I was only 6 or 7. Im the only 13 year old at my school who knows who she is, which makes me think of how much better my life would be if I was born back when The Runaways were around. RIP Sandy, I love you.

I wish her family would rerelease her small body of solo work. There are enough of us to buy it all up, and I'm sure her poor family hit some financial problems after her illness and passing. The last scene of "Edgeplay" still gets me.

Both Sandy and Greg(lead guitar)have passed away,
there are plans for a DVD and maybe a cd as soon as that is clear I will let you All know.

When I was a kid growing up in Huntington Beach, I used to watch Sandy play drums in her garage. I remember how powerful she was!! Then the next thing i knew...the Runaways came out with Cherry Bomb and she was a star!!. I could not believe it when I recently picked up a Rolling Stone mag and saw she had died...God Bless sandy. You were a childhood hero to me and I will always remember you as the girl down the street who played KICK-ASS drums in her garage! XO
