I'm not doing that when I get this gun lol. I've done something similar to that with my TM: I was running, tripped over some dead brush, my gun dropped onto a rock from like 5 ft., I landed on it (all 170 lbs. of me), then it slipped into a pile of fine dust. Did a quick clean and it was fine. Not even the externals broke. Hooray for plastic!

@Heylookaneagle actually, vfc's really good at making their guns vertually waterproof. if you search around for a bit, there's a video where they disassemble the vfc scar-h (which is an amazing gun, by the way. i love it!), put ever part in a giant tub of water, pull it out, throw it back together and shot it like nothing ever happened.

This is the age old field test of the AK. It will work no matter what, filled with sand or water, stepped on buried underground, it doesn't jam or break. Remarkably the airsoft version matches the real steel version.... almost. What he is doing the the AK durability test.

I just bought this gun and the externals are completely flawless and amazing. feels EXACTLY like the real thing(ive held it, not fired tho). The only thing about it is the barrel, it isnt the most accurate thing, but it definatly isnt "innacurate".

this really isnt anything special, any AEG can do this, along with the water test. you just need to clean your gun before any corrosion happens. same thing with the VFC.

its not some "revolutionary" design.

If there came dirt in the barrel, then surely, it would fuck up, but that stuff is not a real test..

Throw it down a cliff 5 times, Throw it in a river, have it shoot 5 hi-caps in a row, Drop it on concrete, and throw it some more to prove it's durable.

TM AK. 4 years stock, it's still running. Dropped on concrete twice, down cliffs 7 times, submerged in water 3 times, and fallen on who knows how many.

The mud thing wouldn't have an effect on any airsoft gun, provided you don't shovel mud anywhere near the barrel like this guy did. All he did was made the gun look dirty. The barrel is really the only place stuff can enter your gun, and he didn't endanger it there. Also notice how the gun fires slower and sounds distinctly different after getting water thrown on it.
