At a Nightwish concert in Austin Texas, there was a 13 year old kid in a wheelchair. He waited for 2 hours outside after the concert for Tarja's autograph. She came out, ignoring all of the fans, and pushed the kid out of her way to get to the tour bus.

The rest of the band were behind her apologizing for what she had done.

That was the last tour that they had with her. To be honest, I wouldn't want anything like that in my band, would you?

Tarja has too much class to stoop to thier level. HOWEVER, if you listen to her interviews you'll get her version of the story, where she DID perform the sold-out concert in Oslo, contrary to what is implied in that letter. The show wasn't on the schedule and she found out about it at the last minute through her husband. They didn't even talk to Tarja about it.

Tuomas controls the band and its management. Tuomas was told by Tarja's husband to forget about his chances with her now that she's married, and that drove Tuomas crazy with jealously, so he made his decision to fire her two months later.

Firing her backstage of their last concert and plastering a smear letter on the Internet was an act of revenge.
