    The lyrics are already written, I'd like only to say that Otello Profazio whrote only the music, the poem is by Ignazio Buttitta, the biggest sicilian contemporary poet.

  • The songs of Otello Profazio are folk stories usually about Sicily or Calabria. Many of his songs are about the hardships in the region, mostly historical but sometimes contemporary. This song in particular means "In my Land" in Sicilian.
