American Bulldogs are the best! only reason my dog ever fought was because he got too playfull with my shar pei and well shar pei dont get along very well with other big dogs. So far my shar pei gets punked around by my chihuahuas.
First of all I do American Bulldog Rescue so I know a fair amount about these dogs. American Bulldogs are "catch" dogs meaning they go catch the prey and hold it while the hunter or another dog comes in for the kill, they are not by nature "killers" but they will do anything to protect their family or to please their family and people use that for bad things. Before you pass judgement on a breed or spew negative comments, do some research.

American Bulldogs were NOT bred to kill! A long time ago Bulldogs not american bulldogs obviously because America didn't exist yet! Were bred to fight in Rome for soldiers but that was not the American bulldog. The American bulldog was bred as a farm dog. I have a full bred American Bulldog and she is well mannered and loyal dog.
These dogs are very playful and love people if you keep them socially active early.

I wont lie. between a boxer and a Ambull I think the Ambull has a better "Foot to ass" ratio when it comes to a family guardian. Boxers are great family dogs as are Ambulls but In my opinion I think Ambulls can identify and deal with a threat AKA person breaking into your house better then a boxer

You ont know what your talking about. First of it all depends on that individual dog if it can last in a fight or not. Secondly, American Bulldogs were bred to take down and kill anything you put infront of it, the same goes with anyother gripping of fighting dogs.

Ahhh, why cant more dog owners be this way. I have 2 AB's and they play ruff like this, and everyone else gets scared as if they are fighting. They just love to play ruff. Awesome video, I miss taking my boys to the dog park.
