hey if Wu becomes too OP and rolls through Wei, would you switch alliances to Cao Cao in order for you to contain Sun Quan? or stick to destroying Cao Cao first and then try to fight against Sun Quan?
@ngud20 Wu won't storm over Wei until I attack Wei and stretch their armies thin. It's very unlikely that Wu will push Wei back before then. I may turn on Wu before Wei falls, but under no circumstance will I ally with Wei (I'm trying to be faithful to Liu Bei's character, after all).
Remember that he might die of his age, but hey. :)
Yes, I'm watching them all now. I've been moving and such and It's almost orgasmic watching through this. Good job, awesome work and I love your commentary. Good job over all!
32:45- That symbol means "Large City," which allows Cheng Du to contain more gold, food, and troops. Also, Cheng Du has more facility slots than the average city.
Also, considering the speed of transports (and weapons), I'm not sure whether you can get someone out to resupply Zhen Hong before his unit starves/deserts. Still, if his unit disbands, he'll make his way to one of your cities, so all will be well.
0:10- I AM YOUR INSTRUCTOR. I take credit for all of your successes and berate you for all of your failures.
4:53- Let's continue hearing about how much of a dick I am! Yesss.
12:00- Excuse me: Too busy laughing. If you had the PC version, though, we could simulate a hotseat game by selecting two human forces and e-mailing each other the save.
21:20- I've never before recruited an ally's battlefield commander. It looks like you've gotten an additional officer with him, too.
Interesting, if you and Grimith are correct about the supply trains, maybe you should send some food out to Zheng Hong for him to meet halfway and be able to make it home.
I've never actually tried sending supplies to a unit before, now that I know it's possible, should make things a bit interesting on these long campaigns.
@ScreamingDoom If you mean the purple terrain, it's poisonous swamp. The Nanman Territory is apparently full of it...it's a major pain in the ass for Shu's armies in both Dynasty Warriors and ROTK.
@ScreamingDoom yeah it's poison, You loose soldiers if you move a unit over it. My LP just passed some of it, if you wanted an example should be around part 10 or 11.

@Larryihatechu As Cao Cao says in the novel every time one of his strategists comes up with a good plan, "Your thoughts coincide with my own."

I've wondered for a while now... what is that purple swirly stuff on the south-western end of China?
As for Zhen Hong... remember, the longest journey begins with but a single step. BOOOONG!!
