@rointz i just don't think that triple h is in the same league as rock or austin. rock and austin together with hogan make the three biggest names in wrestling history (mostly austin and hogan). i'm not talking about who's the "best" or who's my "favorite" (shawn michaels, macho man, and kurt angle come to mind), i'm talking about the enormity/importance of the people. triple h will go down as one of the greats, but he isn't in their league. i know i left our flair which will upset some people.

Stone Cold is real all by himself. DX the same. These guys lived those characters not because Mr. McMahon handed it to them, because their own personal life in the wrestling business made them who the were. Remember that Steve Austin being overlooked and rejected all the time wore on him and he became a very angry person. Sometimes you just got to stop playing to the crowd and let the way to truely feel and who you really are take it's toll and we'll get to know you better and respect you more.

HBK beat Austin twice in 96. But I wish they would've fought one more time in 2002-2003 so HBK could beat him again and get his revenge from WM14 when Mike Tyson turned on him and quick counted him. Oh well at least there was a promo of Austin begging HBK to be the captain of his Survivor Series team and HBK got to toy around with him, that was awesome.

I remember when the WWF/WWE had at least 2 great superstars carrying the torch for their company. Hogan and the Warrior had their time. Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels had their time and even the Undertaker in that time span. Stone Cold and the Rock had their time, and now it's just John Cena. Hopefully Randy Orton can get to that status, because he is a great talent too. WWE has fallen off hard since then!
