  • what will happend if I shoot myself in the head with this?

  • would you sell for 400

i would love to buy it please get back to me as soon as possibile

  • would you sell for 400

  • @lioncrater The 686 in the vid is a sqaure butt. All the newer 686s are round butts.

  • Question for you I got this same model bought it used from a dealer but it came with a more "Red" wood handle pretty sure its a cherrywood handle. Was this a standard in the pre 1994 as I am looking at yours and it looks a bit like a walnut were I believe mine looks like a Cherry wood. Any thoughts?

  • @rmstudio could be an aftermarket. does it have the S&W logo on the grips?

  • @zboyco Yes it has the SW logo on the handle.

  • I've got the same gun. S&W 686-1 6" barrel. The single action trigger is just beautiful. And the piece is heavy enough that even the hottest loads dont slam your palm at all. Accurate, a real tool of a handgun!

  • How much did it cost?

  • Beautiful gun. I have one also. I noticed ya keep the "Burn" rings on the front of the cylinder. Alot of people do. I have ocd with mine and have to have it spotless..LOL Keep it forever, man...

  • @winchestermag yea burn rings on the front dont bother me. they too much of a bitch to try to get off

  • you mention the thicker material on the cylinder. It's my understanding that the thickness was for military weapons. cops don't really need that much steel. You go cracking off a couple hundred rounds you'll need it though.

  • Just got one and shot it today...it's Amazing, but the concurring spread is hell.

  • That thing is gorgeous! I had the new version of the 686 with the Hogue grips and the built-in safety lock...eh. It was nice but next time around, I'm gonna be looking for an older model like the one you have there.

  • What's with the two dislikes? Are the fuckin gay ?

  • Gaaawd I love that gun. I have a 1984 model

  • @Antarath

In other words. totally identical to yours. I would never have found out how old it was until I took off the wooden grips on day and there was a date stamp on em.

I like the grips on yours

  • I got a more recent version of the 686 S&W 357 magnum 6" with the rubber grip. It's really cool but the wood grip is more beautiful because more "traditionnal"

  • grandpa has the snub nose version and the most powerful bullets that rip through almost anything

  • the 686 is my favorite revolver

  • great vid and revolver, doesnt look 25, looks new, cheers.

  • I got one with wooden grips. One sexxy pistol with very little recoil, very accurate, powerful, enduring, and pretty to look at.

  • Damn this gun is screaming sexy

  • The thicker, The stronger, The better indeed my friend.

  • fire pppllleeeaasssseeee :D

  • Thanks for the info on this. Looks like I'll be looking for an older model, just based on the wood grips and the thicker steel.

  • Beautiful. I'd love to run into one of these older ones at the local shop.

  • does that use 6mm airsoft or .22 airsoft?

  • @CajunCatfish12 its a springer so it can only use .12g bb's to get high velocity

  • @zboyco thats a 357 retards not a bb gun fagots

  • @CajunCatfish12 um LOL plz tell me ur not serious with that question lolz.

  • got one just like her in the short bbl.

  • gotta love revolvers

  • Quuero um desse, só que moro no Brasil ! =/

  • mean looking revolver

  • i want that

  • @pjicleanair420 LOL that reminds me of that chick that wanted that model sail boat in the movie Napolean Dynamite

  • @zboyco lol

  • @zboyco Tots or GTFO (Napoleon dynamite reference)

  • @zboyco do you like smiths or rugers better

  • That's one sexy revolver

  • Nice magna grips. Havent seen them on a 686 before. Always see them wearing target or hogue grips.

  • Sweet gun, I havn't shot one of those since I was a kid. Nice trigger, a little heavier, smooth to shoot. Thanks for the memories!

  • have u ever think to get a model 27? thats a fine revolver too

  • Old memories!

The 686-1 was a graduation gift from my Mom.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

  • @ebomey O.o
