yup movie maker some cheap photoshop like software and youll be good, when in movie maker cut the frame of the video where the gun recoils then you save that picture, go to photoshop or another software, and upload a muzzle flash google the image, and then remove the green or black screen and align the muzzle flash to the gun upload the picture frames back to movie maker and there you go

@counternub yes it was and it is actually VERY easy in windows live movie maker press snapshot where you want the flash to be take the pic of the snapshot and put it in paint. Than add the flash to the place on the pic you want. Than just add sound effects and done!

@gatorboy095 my version of adobe after effects begs to differ. i do use vegas to do my cutting, but all my vfx are done in after effects. i'm upgrading my sony vegas to 11 next month for my bday though :3 pretty excited about that.

@gatorboy095 well if you're on a budget i suggest sony vegas movie studio hd platinum. you can get version 10 for around $50 on amazon. the current version (11) you can find for around $70. the only addition in version 11 is stereoscopic 3d. movie studio hd platinum is basically vegas pro but without masking or 3d track motion. if you really need to mask something you could do so with wax 2.0 which is a freeware vfx program. i suggest that option if you are stuck reusing trials.

@gatorboy095 i mention that because technically your license for the trial is only good for one use. i know people suggest reusing trials but it is technically illegal. i got after effects 7 for about $300 by buying a 6.5 and an upgrade on the cheap. i also grabbed vegas 7 used for $100. i'm upgrading to pro 11 for my bday for $150 with a deal im getting. depending on how cheap you want to go there are plenty of good options.

Actually, there is recoil. That caliber, which is a downgrade 9-mm doesn't have much recoil. He was doing it very realistically.  As for it being made in Movie Maker, well done. I've seen people try this in After Effects and it look like crap, nice job.

@ygkay ... If your videos won't upload it's because they are in wrong format.. Try downloading freemake video converter and upload videos there and press WMV....  Same thing if u need music from iTunes in a video: upload to freemake and press to Mp3. You will have to do this in any movie maker. For flashes go to Stubbs effects video on flashes and get gun package..... Hope this helps.. Btw check out my vids at reznofproductions

Muzzle flash looks nice, but the sound effects are pathetic. Putting a clip in and cocking a gun do not sound the same, and you need to fade the gunshot sound effect, otherwise it sounds awful.
