I bought my Apple TV when it first came out and enjoyed it but now with Take 2 I really love it! I wonder if Apple will ever market a nice Hi-Def TV with an Apple TV and web cam built in. How nice would that be?

yeh it would be awesome if they made thoes cinema displays big! like as in big lyk 32inch big and it had a camera aswell. :D that would be awesome. or just make the imacs that big and u can hook it up 2 the wall :D and then watch normal tv on it aswell

I wish there was a way to get product ideas to Apple. I have a great one for apple tv. Make it have all the new features, PLUS a slingbox type feature, so you can watch tv on your macbooks or iPhone and iPod Touch, wouldn't that be sweet. I think thy should look into it, tell me what you think.

I doubt to many people will buy the apple tv without a computer, you still need a router, internet and it is best to manage your files via a mac/pc

I really like the Apple TV advances, I watch a lot of podcasts, Diggnation, Totally Rad show, Mac Break etc and being able to just access them directly from my plasma screen is a really cool idea for me, the only sticking point is the price in the UK its still the same old full price which is $389 US dollars, compare this to the new US price of $229 thats a 69% extra premium in the UK

I totally agree, they have got it right this time!! The only thing bad is that we live in the UK Adrian, which means we will get a watered down version of all the movies, higher prices and the question is WHEN will we get the rentals? But it's great for americans

No your wrong, the best product was Time Capsule, I couldn't care less about the movie rentals, I did before Steve said you could rent movies in HD on the Apple TV only! Screw that! I can rent HD movies on my SKY HD so to not be able to on my laptop is a joke. You can also rent HD films on the Xbox 360 in the US.

xbox 360 downloads suck, plus you have this noisy piece of crap running by your entertainment center, apple tv is much much better

I DON'T CARE! It takes the utter piss that I HAVE to get an Apple TV to download Apple's HD movie rentals when I have a Mac Book Pro with a screen that can show 720P HD fine. Apple won't beat my Sky HD rental's, it's not a capped BB service for one that throttles it's speed in the evening.

Their are also lots of other movie rental sites where I CAN download HD content onto my computer. Still the UK doesn't get any movie rentals until the end of the year if ever, by then my 360 will have a nice big libary. MS 1 Apple 0

If I had my way my country would have nothing to do with the US, I mean the US banks fucked up and now the world is on the brink of recession. Yeah go America go. Just watch those Apple share prices plummet as a result. But as MS actually let me rent HD films n my 360 I have no problem with them. The 360 is the one thing they got right.

I'm willing to bet that you're one of those people who complain no matter what the US does. If we get involved in another country for some reason you say we are sticking our noses in where it doesn't belong & if we don't then you get pissed because we didn't step in to do something about a it. You're the kind of person who would complain about the type of rope you're about to be hung with, aren't you? Who would you rely on to "be police" if the US were suddenly gone?

I'm fine with the idea of the US not getting involved with other worldly affairs... isolationism. I'd prefer that my taxes go to support efforts here instead of being poured into foreign countries who don't appreciate what we are attempting to do. Unfortunately, we live in a world economy and that would ultimately be a bad thing so we are damned if we do and we're damned if we don't.

yeah you are definitely right, the main problem I think with the first Apple TV was no so much the fact that you had to buy the movie but the fact that the film or tv show was made to play on an iPod and you we watching it on an HDTV. In other words some of the older films that apple sold before they upgraded the quality, to what they said was "near dvd" quality, looked like crap.
