i bet it took awhile. its a work of art man being real. and yea this stuff is addicting! its like you put it all in and you just think waht you can do to make it better haha. well keep it up man.!
awesome system man, i know if chev saw this they would be wondering if their car wil hold together because alot of that stuff look like it would shiver apart. Nice system, like the black on black on black awesome dude lol
280 amps did you have to get that custom made cos im struggeling to find a HO alt for my car and i was wondering about how you have the batteries connected cos i was talking to an electrical engineer about addidng extra batterys and he said you cant connect them straight parallel cos they will discharge each other he said i would have to use a relay and its only benefit would be if i ran the system alot with the engine off so i would have no starting trouble.
I bought the alternator online, works great, costs around 700 us dollars. Connecting multiple batteries is definitely something you need to do with a big system. The more "storage" you have, the better. You don't need a relay, and they won't discharge each other under normal use. They will drain equally when in use, but if you have the right alternator it's no worries! The alternator and zero guage wiring from it to your amps is definitely thr right investment first.
It has a 280 amp alternator, zero guage wire from the batt, alternator, ground to chassis, etc. 2 kinetic 1800 batteries, no capacitor (they are better for a lower power system) hope this helps man!
Zero guage wiring from alt to batteries and to ground; 280 amp alternator, 2- kinetic 1800 batteries, heavy duty RCA's, Multiple fuses (1- 300 amp, 2- 250 amps, 1 -150 amp). I can run it loud with no problems (no dimming headlights, battery draining, etc). With the car off, those batteries are also big enough to run it for a while...
Really nice setup man. I just ordered 4 of the p1222's. I was wondering how much power your pushing to em.. daily ill be pushin like 2000 rms tops.. and then for competitions ill be burpin like 4000 watts.. you think they would handle that? also. hows the sound quality on em??
Thanks Man- I run around 2400rms, and run it loud a lot...
They would definitely handle 4000rms in short bursts. I could only get mine stinking at very low hz, around 25-30. They actually sounded pretty good, even though my enclosure was tuned below 40 hz. Have fun man, I was impressed with these subs!

Thanks a lot man! The car holds together great, but has had a severe sound dampening treatment.... The interior barely moves, which is impressive

Yeah, those JBL's kick ass for the $.
Another install hint with a system like this-
@1:15 check out the reverse polarity of 2 of the subs...
Small enclosures, (around 2 cubic feet per 2 subs) but they work really well if they are wired right
