The whole branch rivalry thing is fun. It pushes all of the branches to try to be better than the others. However, whenever we start to march on the people causing problems, we will always have each other back. Marines, Navy, Army and Airforce will protect each other. Most of the time, while we are helping each other out, we are still talking trash. To everyone in the service, good luck and be safe. Also, the Marines are the best in the land. OOH-RAH!

I don't know about y'all but I cruised around the world with 50+ of my close friends doing things that were fun. And when we weren't doing that I worked a 9-5 and got paid the same as you.

Army- go to the desert For 18 months and get shot at...

Marines- go to the desert for 6-9 months and get shot at.

Airforce- go to the desert for 1-3 months and don't get shot at.

Navy- go to 10 different countries in 6 months doing awesome shit and never get shot at....

It's amazing how know nothings can run their mouths. The marines are a part of the navy many seals are marines and have been trained by marines, at least one of the blue angels ia a marine. The marines were actually formed first on april, 19 1775, while the navy wasn't formed until oct,1775,odd but true.On one of the pacific island during wwII the marines were put in charge of a column of the army to reduce loses.

America's "Black Ops" is not the Navy Seals, Army Special Forces, Marine Force Recon, etc. They are merely just Tier 2 special operation forces that perform "Gray Operations" under a military command. This in response to Vip3rized1... The Corps does need the Navy to survive. The US Marine Corps was originaly considered Naval Infantry. And as the years progressed and the missions evolved the Marine Corps has adapted from a Naval force to the Go Getters we know today. And did you know that the USMC does not have medical personnel? The USMC utilizes US Navy Corpsman whom are attached to Marine units as Medical support. Put simply.. Marine gets hurt bad+Sailor saves life = USMC needs USN.
