just had my black beauty rewired too, not as fancy as yours though, still a big improvment though instead of bridge+mid, all three, neck+mid, with the mid in series it now goes bridge, bridge+mid, neck so that there's no muddyness from having the middle always on..and it's in parralell for more fatness....add this to higher quality pots wiring and switch and the new sound is amazing....

It's impossible to make a proper sound judgement on a youtube video but great video. We have Gibsons too but also installed genuine humbuckers into the Epiphones and the results are great. Good sound and playing.

The opening phrase is an octave coming off the 20th frett. It's this real cool Indian thing. That's what it sounds like anyway.

But his left hand never comes down to pluck the octave. He must be doing it with his right hand. Check it out. It's a very high pitch Indian bend. It almost sounds like he's bending the strings behind the nut while striking the octave somehow. don't see how he's doing it with his right hand. Check it out.

It's great to be able to have this info at our finger tips. June is great also. I've take pictures of June's playing with my flip and run it through my mac and slowed down the licks. All's fair in girls and guitars.

Btw, the pups were all changed to gibson t-top replicas and a jimmy page burstbucker, so the wiring, caps and pots. The amp is a modded JCM600 combo. hey i was building a project guitar like this one, and similar to his black custom used on the royal albert hall dvd, anyways i bought an sg, and a strat instead. my point is u might want to consider finding a gold plated light weight aluminum tail piece, the abr-1 bridge, a bigsby (made sure its not mkade of pot metal or it will kill the tone), and i had a guitar shop nearby that can do epiphone headstocks into gibson ones. i think u would be very happy with these mods i have mentioned
