  • Does this work on shorter hair?

I have a bit longer than my shoulders.

  • @GLiTTERC0RE that could work with a smaller sock bun. =)

  • @stargurlflower ur welcome! =)

  • Pursebuzz showed this

  • @sab2509 good to kno.. thx!

  • LOL oh my gosh! That's so smart! I've seen this other thing on eBay where it's a long sponge thing that opens in the middle where you slide all your hair in and you can clamp it shut, then roll it into a round bun. Gives the same look and I was about to buy it for $4. But I think I'll try this first and it if works I'll save my time and money :P

  • @bbtpink oh i think i know what you're talking about.. hehe.. that was a nifty thing altho i never bought it. but this method will def save you money for sure =)

  • Its a weird concept, putting a sock in your hair to make it look nice :) and it turns out so neat!

  • @DevilsSwag hehee.. u never know what you can get with household items... =)

  • I wanted to do this, but I noticed that I didn't have any socks to spare, so I found that using a fingerless glove with just a thumbhole, or an armwarmer or legwarmer works just as well! Wow, its 4 AM and I did this in like 2 minutes! Thanks MsLaBelleMel!

  • @XxChibiChiChixX haha.. nice! that'll do too! and u don't have to cut it either =D

  • I love the intro Mel, so pretty! This bun is great, I''m gonna give this a try soon.

  • @NotARichGIrl thx girl! =)

  • That is the neatest bun I've ever seen!!

  • @fuzkittie hehe.. thx fuz!! =)

  • Also, you and Queenie just did the exact same hair tutorial, haha I like how you use the sock, very creative!^0

  • @PipsyPops check out my babble channel - link in info section! i have the first two destination up already.. =)

  • your hair looks really nice in this video! :D

  • @MissRosieRachel thank u! =)

  • great tutorial! I'll try this using a black sock so it'll be less obvious in case the hair won't be enough to cover the entire donut. oh, i might use my own sock instead of hubby's... LOL

  • @yangtanw great! i used hubby's since my socks are way too small to create a big donut.. i doubled up on his to make it bigger.. using my socks, i'd have to use like 3 maybe.. good luck! =D

  • Super popular in Japan too! Only it's called the odango. Binosume makes a great one somewhere on youtube! So good to see you making a video Mel!

  • @sakuraness hehe.. yes i love binosume! thank u.. i hope to have more time to make more vids.. =)

  • @starLLY701 my hair is like pin straight if i don't curl it so using another hair tie just makes sense.. hehe.. =D

  • Great tip with the sock. Thanks for sharing. Will def be trying that

  • @Sunstar020 ur welcome! hope it turns out well! =)

  • @michele1218 haha! i didnt' figure it out all my own but it's freaking genius.. i always have one sock missing its pair.. hehehe.

  • wow thats really cool haha

how do u keep ur hair so healthy??

  • @Watermelooon don't use any hair products except shampoo & condition then air dry! =)

  • @MsLaBelleMel ahh but my hair isnt naturally straight nor does it curl/wave nicely haha

if i let it airdry itll poof, frizz and wave in all the wrong places :(

  • @Watermelooon you can have a cute frizzy bun yay! :P
