For those having a difficult time getting to the regular C, try a Cadd which is same shape as G but you just move your top 2 fingers on the top low E and A down, one string where your middle finger is on the A string and index is on the D string. Works great for me and sounds about the same. Anyway thank you Marty for your Awesome lessons and Guitar On Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What you meant to say was tune to Standard (E) tuning with the capo on the first fret, then when you take it off you should be in Eb tuning. However, some capos will alter the tuning when you apply them, so you may have to retune when you take it off.
