Longest boss fight ever for me. The first time I ever fought him was on the PS1 and I didn't know you had to switch ports. I was pretty young at the time so I never bothered to use the codec very much at all and did things on my own.

No, he meant he wish it was out for the PS2(as in a remake most probably). But the game(MGS1) was remade for the gamecube only. btw this message was for GrandMasterEdge1111 and yeah i agree with you Dieenejeweetwel that it should be remake for the PS3 but then since it's already been remade i don't think they want to do it again. Maybe they should remake the first 2 games that was out for the MSX that is Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake(not MGS2).

in fact you can beat him without swaping the controllers, i did back in the PS1 times , it took tooo long and a lot of continues, cause i didnt know the trick . You just have to evade his attacks and youll be able to hit him once every hmm like 3 cycles of his attaks, you know, first the paintings, then the table stuffs, the furniture, and dont remember.

#2- Yes, the M9 Tranquilizer Gun has been added to the remade version.

#3- Yes, the music is completely different with the execption of 'The Best Is Yet To Come'.

#4- The voice actors are all the same (except Rob Paulsen who voices the Ninja).

#5- And before I forget, yes, the cutscenes are different.
