Still remains: a favorite, favorite, favorite. And, yes, I'm bias because I worked my ass off on the days of the shoot. But, no, that's not the only reason I love this composition ;) you, your lens, and the lenses you employ to make this dream come alive. . .gifts, guy, gifts. Keep up the hard, good, work, sir.
I grew up in Southeastern Oklahoma, surrounded by Choctaw. Many of my fellow students at school were Choctaw, and I've studied the language for several years now. What a beautiful language, and all those articles: -mat, -pan, -hosh, -hokat, . . . Thanks to Mr. Willis and others for their work in documenting and reviving Chahta imanompa in Oklahoma.
What Native language is this one? Trailer was excellent, definitely caught my attention and interest. I'm so there! However bein from NM, I like adding green chile to the "Indian" (for me its Navajo) Taco. Peace/Hozho ~Shell~
Thank you. The shot was actually done in reverse. We put the camera in the back of an SUV, then I drove away from the actor. Then in post we ran it backwards. The lens size just made it seem like we were close to the ground.

@SWNative Thank you so much for the kind words. And that is Choctaw being spoken. I had my grandfather come in and do the V.O.
