How to install 5.50 Gen-D on your PSP

i got a question, i have a psp 2001 and i know its hackable coz i upgrade many psp with that version. when I upgrade my psp version 5.03 to 5.50 gen d, when i choose reboot at the end of the installation my psp won't start..only the green light is on..but nothing on the screen.. how am i suppose to fix it?

@xbciete Bricked ! If you have put more hacks on it doesn't mean it's a hackable motherboard !

You newbs take it literally ! A hackable motherboards means a MB that can be unbricked <_< .

First check your motherboard and if it is TA-088V3 your psp is dead !

If it is not ! Buy a pandora battery ! it will put it in service mode and unbrick it !

If it is dead by replacing the MB with a new one from the same version (2000)

If you have 3000 replace the MB with a MB that is same model INSITW , NR !

Buying a new MB actually is the same as buying a new psp !

HEY GUYS,I WORKED IT OUT MY FREN SAID IT CAN IT COULD WORK!!!!When u open ur PSP folder in the comp,juz copy the 5.50pbp to the very 1st part ,the repeat the step by EpicTechShow n switch on ur psp n update it!! Enjoy :)

Ok i fond the answer for everyone who gets the black screen. You have to upgrade to version Gen B2 in order for the gen D update to work.

i found out how to fix it.... in the XMB press select then when UMD ISO mode is highlighted, press right until it says M33 driver

Hey man sorry to bother you again but, since im GEN-D(FULL) i cant play the games i was playing when i had GEN-B(FULL) for example i downloaded Smackdown vs RAW 2010 and it was working perfectly. Once i upgrade i keep getting sent back to the main screen. Would there be a way i could get back GEN B(Full)????
