@FightTheSerpents ever try catching a runaway cat in an open area before? It is best to leash any indoor pet & dogs for both their safty & your comfort of mind. :-P
Long time ago, My Tabby cat name is TOM, I and Tom walked along the beach up to 4 km without lead rope, free anywhere. If He was tried, I pick up Tom and I carried him. Oh cute my cat Tom. so..... I and Tom raced to home from 1km beach.. have fun.

Your cat reminded me of my 17 year old who passed away 2 years ago and I never got a chance to take him to the beach and I always imagined he would react the same way as your cat did. Glad you had the opportunity to take your cat. Great memories!

We just took my two cats to the beach while on vacation. It's June here in the States and HOT in Florida so we had to wait until evening.... they are long haired too like the Bug.
