In dancing, you're supposed to smile. You're supposed to look like you're having the time of your life out there. My team gets docked points if we don't smile.

@ drilldancer.... yes, you are correct if you're referring to a younger amature team performing a happy jazz dance or something of that nature... but, in higher level / professional dance, especially a routine like this and other contemporary dances, the dancer is supposed to show appropriate emotion that matches the mood of the music and the choreography. in this case, big cheesy grins are NOT appropriate.

really really good dance! my only complaint was that this was a super intense song/dance and I didn't feel like the girls should have been smiling during it.
