I think Don's great but whether or not a guy misses substantial time or not after being cheap-shotted is irrelevant when it comes to determining how much time the offender should get. Sandstrom was an irritating and at times dirty player but he wasn't even close to the level of Ulf Samuelson.
Cause he was a small finesse player, and a very good one too. He was a Swede who scored over 40 goals and 100 points in 1985-86. He played 8 years in the NHL so I can guarantee you the NHL wasn't too tough and mean for him.
Cherry is a god, seriosuly he is 100& right though.
