  • i did along the same lines but i just used 2000 grit wet sandpaper once wiped it down the plasticX polish and gave the same results much quicker and easier

    For a quick fix, what you did will work....but let me know how they look after 3-4 months......will not last.

  • This technique is for optical glass or plastic? because I believe that the plastic melts. I also wanted to know if this is for the optics behind the car. Thanks.

  • i used to use the polish methods once a year but now there are spray coatings out that permanently fix this. I bought literite.

    Second, is this the same process people use with hand sanding the light down, just with a machine?
