All the vids I have seen on Ka 52 compare to the AH64LB. Now I know that dissing USA is all the rage these days, but do you think you might compare with a weapon thats not almost 30 years old? Im glad to see that Russia is coming up in the world, but our new Helos and planes don't even need pilots, and can be stamped out en mass. Its like comparing the Su 34 to the F-4 Phantom. As usual, 30 years too late. Im not saying the KA isn't awsome, but it dosn't mean USA sucks.

@Jerimiah10 Maybe you have no idea when the AH64 was build. And the KA50 and KA52 are only heavy ground attack helicopter not Air and ground defense helicopters like AH64 or Mi-28. And the armor of AH64 is just average like the Mi-24.The russian took the armor from the Su-25 for the KA-50 and KA-52, the armor of Su-25 is best armored jet this is confirmed by all countries.It can hold 40mm explosive shells and 80mm rpg rounds. AH64 can hold 23mm.Mi-28 can hold 23mm till 30mm litle more than AH64

And for the AH64 LB, most of the infantry carry gun 12,7mm heavy MG can do damage to this Chopper. And that is only a infantry gun, when the LB is under attack from a ZU-23-2 he will be dead soon but most of them are to far away for the range of a ZU-23-2

Saying it was just made of German tech is kind of like saying that the first British tank was created by the Spanish. All races are created by man. We all come from one man, and one woman. Only one thing you are forgetting, the Ka-52 is untested for length of service and battle time. The numbers are fine but don't mean anything until it is has been tested. Too many superior designs have looked great on the boards but failed in battle. Give it a few years and let the Chinese come north maybe, and then compare them again...lol
