  • thats got to be the longest opening and closing salutation for any kata i have ever seen....

  • dude you did great i love matching this form and professor is awesome im from utah so i study under master clegg? and i love shaolin kempo

  • This form is close to the same forms taught to the military,in Okanawa on the Marine base, back in 1964.

  • With respect, Slow down. you only get a small amount of time to perform, use it all. Mess with the timing, maybe some dramatic pause. Fast and slow portions, like a song has a verse and a chorus.

  • Good job! A little different from the one Bill Chun Jr. showed me, but that is what makes the ART interesting.

  • I was the one who did this form. All of you people complaining about Charles Mattera or Shaolin Kempo are mistaken. People will talk badly about Mattera because he is successful; so the term for that is jealousy. Shaolin kempo is CHINESE! Kempo is a translation word for Chuan Fa which IS CHINESE! Yes there is japanese influence, but who do you think first traveled to Japan to teach them the arts?

  • Shaolin kempo is fred villaris system.

Charles Mattera stole a bunch of Villari schools in California in 1992.

  • yeah...the guy does well. American Shaolin Kempo is a system made up by Fred Villari. USSD is a splinter off of that. That's at least what I was reading on the internet...

  • This form is not shaolin. It's kempo. In Shaolin Kempo the first form that is shaolin is at second degree black belt- sha dum kwak

  • um, it's sho tung kwok...and, in all honesty, i've been reading the history on the internet. it's a form that fred villari made up...so, how is it really shaolin when some white dude made it up? i love ussd, but the first shaolin form i would have to say must be the ones that are currently coming from the temple...

  • no, the form being performed in the video is hansuki, not sho tung kwok.

  • um, no it's not...the first actual shaolin form would be northern and southern tigers. fred villari made up sho tung quak.

  • nice sir

  • howd you end up doing?!

  • I did good, but I didn't win. There is good competition with the other instructors.
