I have supported the very respectful Brisbane Broncos Rugby League Club since their very first match against Manly in 1988, and been there for all their ups and downs, but this hurts and cuts deeper to my heart than any player retiring, getting injured, or simply not making a Grand Final. Legally so, this was assault, and should be judged as such.

The reporter was speaking as to 'mock' or 'pity' the Broncos, and therefore would have caused some aggrevation, but not provoke an assault.

The Broncos NRL team, and the OTHER fans, should not be judged for the actions of these drunk aggrevated people in their merchandise.

Meanwhile, I shall add that fans of other NRL teams have far worse reputations when it comes to courtesy, attitude, and legitimacy.
