Jon Lester struck out 11 while yielding three runs over six innings against the Rangers on Friday night, but took a no-decision in an eventual 8-4 win.
It was the sixth time Lester has reached double-digits in strikeouts this season. Lester allowed six hits, including a two-run homer by Michael Young in the no-decision. He has a 3.35 ERA over his last four starts, but has taken a no-decision in all of them.

Joba is a great pitcher. I think he'd be great as either a starter or relief pitcher, but I think using him as a starter wouldn't be a good idea (he has a high injury risk).
I hope he doesn't become the next Mark Prior or Kerry Wood (and this is coming from a Red Sox fan).
