I do not know why so many folks bicker around here:

a) Yes, it is not the original movie version, it was done on a synthesizer.

b) The sound quality is quite high for such an electronic instrument, and the player got real close to the original.

So, we do have one Keyboard player who tried to get as close to a complete orchestra as he could, and -in my opinion as a long year keyboard player- he did quite a good job. So please show the man's work a bit of respect...

Ew synthesizers! This is a fake version. The actual Conan sountrack has the original orchestra (The Orchestra and Chorus of Santa Cecilia & The Radio Symphony of Rome) conducted and composed by Basil Poledouris. Hearing it with an orchestra is much more powerful and invigorating. If you're a true fan I recommend you find a copy of the original soundtrack.

Listen carefully, its made with keyboards, simulated orchestras. Especially at 1:07 It doesn't matter if you found it on a CD, its not the official soundtrack score. I have a friend who bought the Lord of the RIngs triology box set for the soundtracks and the music was just like this one, remade with cheap production costs. Hiring a true orchestra is VERY expensive.
