i downloaded the new 4.3 version to my IPAD and the muliti gesture does not work. it does not even show the multi gesture in my settings.

I just upgraded to 4.3 on my 3G 64G iPad1 and most of these gestures don't work.. damn it!

What does work is the 1) 'lock rotation', 2) pinch close in the photo album (that worked for me before anyway), 3) new font in memo pad.

I'm yet to test whether safari is much faster than before (as Apple boasted).

@BarcaBosch It seems that those features were only enabled for "developer" beta versions of iOS 4.3, but I read somewhere that the gestures feature is not -yet- intended to be on the customer version of iOS 4.3. :(

@noreplyism It takes a while to get used to. It's great for writing a few notes but if you're typing something like an essay it can get a bit frustrating.

It would be nice, if Apple could make an option, that permits u to close apps completely, and not let them runing in the backround, like before iOS 4, but only with the option to close it completely, or only hide it........

@pedrorehm You can close apps completely! Just hold down on an app in the multitasking bar and tap the red minus once it starts to wiggle.

@pedrorehm I think it's going to take sometime to get used to but eventually it's going to be much superior way to navigate the devise. Plus it's going to be a bit easier on the hardware. Sometimes my button feels like it's stuck from too much use.

Since the multitasking was released for the iPhone I wished that you could just use 3 fingers to enter the multitasking bar instead of double tapping that stupid button...

Cool to see that Apple is actually doing what I was hoping they would do..

Now implement it into the iPhone already!

Hi, i downloaded 4.3 beta (8F5148b) to my ipad and it's running fine, exept for one problem. the multitasking gestures doesent work, they dont even show up in settings.

Got any tips? btw i tried reinstalling the firmware on it.

I just tried Fruit Ninja and if you swipe with more than 3 fingers it does switch away from the app. I normally only use one finger with it though, why are you using four? A trick I don't know?
