I love Acis & Galatea but this version is not my taste. The tenors in the choir sound quite harsh and the 'thunder' sections of this chorus are a bit too slow.

Agreed. This is a beautiful chorus especially, but the higher male voices are butchering it. Check out the Gardiner recording, though.

Check part 7. The aria is at the very beggining. Do leave a comment, I'd love to know what you think of Brannigan's version of "O ruddier". :-)
