I have tried it all. Fresh reboot on desktop and 4s. Run as administrator. New folder in another location. still detects 5.0.1. When I hit jailbreak it says it see I tried before and failed. Then it does a quick 'recovery' that's what it says. Then it says if I want to retry to unplug your....and the rest is cut off. So I just unplug replug hit jailbreak. After 4 minutes it hangs with absinthe stopped working error.

can u tell me what the absinthe says when its safe to unplug the device please? i have done it twice now on the iphone 4s, when i go the the iphone and load the absinthe app it loads but when it has done the absinthe app is still there and no cydia, any help please.

Unfortunately mine will not work. Detects 5.0.1 just fine. Unlock code of, fresh boot on 4s, iTunes not running etc. I'm running windows 7 64 bit. Antivirus tured off. But....after I start the jailbreak it connects to my phone and hangs in the first stage for about 4 minutes then I get an error that says absinthe.exe has stopped working. Have tried several times. I am sad.

ok remove the files from the original folder and put in a fresh folder

right click on program

run as administrator
