Stunning! Attempted the same route in early February and met with typically fierce Scottish weather! Needless to say, hasty retreat........Returning late November for round two. Some beautiful cornices in your shots, that area is just so breathtaking. My all time favourite.
Cheers; yes it blew me away, just a same we never made Braeriach (you see it in the distance when we summit Angel's Peak, in slow mo). Would like to return and attempt Ben McDui.
Your lucky to find a bothy, form what ive heard they are usually kept low key. Ive stayed by one, unfortuantley it was too small, and too smelly to accomadate all of us. So bivi wacking under the stars was in order!
Phantom, you should make a visit down here, and visit snowdownia. 1085 meters, good views..mile after mile of mountain. ;)
