Low interest rates just encourage overconsumption and not living beyond your means which is what exactly what lead to the sub prime mortgage crash in2007,people who couldnt afford a house were given an ''illusion'' that they could afford to buy a house that they really couldnt afford because the U.S government forced banks to loan money to customers without credit......well intentioned but badly misdirected.

Australias reserve bank should also be abolished as well and be replaced with competing currencies and ''free banking''.
